The very most important things about minerals is that they are absorbable and useful to the body.
When people start taking minerals, their body takes a lot more capsules than I would expect.
I personally was tested for 1 cap 3 times per day. When I got used to that, it went up! I took sometimes 3 caps 3 times per day. This was a very specific sea weed based mineral built for the blood type. Then it went up from there! I used sprouts, specialty minerals like Lithium, magnesium threonate and zinc. Then I found myself drinking more fresh green juice than regular people drink water! And it went on to adding green vegetables every meal. And thriving on it!
Vitamins and minerals are the building block of the body. They make us strong. They make us like Popeye!
My kids had a great base of minerals as they went off to college. Then they stopped taking them thinking that maybe it didn't have anything to do with anything. It wasn't like they could tell in a day because it was in storage! So I had to wait until they got tired to explain that they have to keep a base in there. Now it was up to them to do it.
I sincerely believe that your life reflects your body's environment. If you have a sense of lack, it is because the body has a sense of lack. I have been able to feel terrific because my cells have an easy time of their life. The more I do for them, the more it reflects out into my life.
All I have to do is feed and water them and sing tothem a bit. We all like love. Okay, well sometimes I have to untangle the cells and lay the law in a cell "neighborhood", etc. I also eliminate things from my diet that take too much energy to deal with.
Minerals and vitamins are good. Think of them like clothes. Some clothes work and others just don't feel right. Do you give a giant man 3X man the same shirt that a you would give to a year female old toddler? Why not, they are both shirts? Think about it....
You need the specific matches for your need to what you are taking for your body to be comfortable in for the most part imperceptible ways but over time it matters. That's what I do. I find the matches, I make the body comfortable and then see what else the body is doing and what it needs. That's my thing.
